QA/QC Engineer

As a QA/QC Engineer at Konnak Engineering Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of multi-million dollar EPC and engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing QA/QC policies, conducting audits, inspecting materials and construction activities, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with project teams to resolve quality issues. You will also be involved in training and mentoring team members on quality practices and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards for projects. - Prepare and review project procedures and quality plans to ensure compliance. - Schedule and conduct audits. - Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities at all stages. - Monitor welding, fabrication, and installation processes to ensure adherence to standards. - Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and records. - Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve quality issues. - Conduct audits to verify compliance with ISO and other relevant standards. - Support the development of corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. - Train and mentor team members on quality practices and standards. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline. - 3-8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within EPC or oil & gas projects. - Strong knowledge of international quality standards (ISO, ASME, API, etc.). - Certification in QA/QC or related field (e.g., ASNT, AWS, CSWIP) preferred. - Experience with welding inspection, NDT, and material testing procedures. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
