QA Tester Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester Intern to join our team at Don-Clem Technology. The intern will be responsible for assisting in the testing of web, mobile, and software applications to ensure high quality, functionality, and performance. This internship will provide hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle, testing processes, and exposure to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, designing, and executing test cases for software applications.
• Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in applications.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to resolve issues.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing as required.
• Support automation testing initiatives where possible.
• Review user requirements and prepare test documentation.
• Provide feedback on usability, user experience, and potential system improvements.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and team discussions.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of software testing principles, methods, and tools.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology.
• Understanding of bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, GitHub Issues).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
