QA Tester

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through thorough Automation testing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with development teams to identify and resolve issues. The Software Tester will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, reliable software solutions to our clients and end-users. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. Define test strategies, scope, and objectives for each testing phase. Test Case Design and Execution: Create detailed, well-structured test cases based on project specifications. Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools. Identify and document software defects and track issues to resolution. Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing. Work with development teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Defect Tracking and Reporting: Document and prioritize defects, providing detailed information to developers for resolution. Generate and communicate test summary reports to project stakeholders. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure a unified approach to quality. Clearly communicate testing progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software testing and QA. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Preferred Technical Skills: Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium with Python, etc. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Experience with performance testing and security testing. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Testing (Automaion and Manual)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
