QA Tester

Role & Responsibilities: Manual Testing: Execute comprehensive manual testing of software releases, including functional, regression, and integration testing. Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements. Defect Management: Identify, document, and prioritize defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools. Collaborate closely with the development team to facilitate the resolution of identified issues. Test Automation: Collaborate with the automation team to identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the creation of automated test scripts. Execute and maintain automated test suites as part of the overall testing strategy. Test Planning and Strategy: Contribute to test planning activities by providing insights into testing strategies, test scope, and resource requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and requirements. Release Validation: Participate in the validation of software releases to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for deployment. Collaborate with product managers and development teams to verify that releases align with customer expectations. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports. Ensure that testing activities are well-documented and traceable. Qualifications : Hands-on experience in manual software testing. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
