About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester with strong expertise in automated testing using Python and Playwright. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of hands-on QA experience, with the ability to design, build, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the reliability and quality of our web applications.

You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers, contributing to high-quality releases and continuous improvement in our testing processes. If you are passionate about test automation and quality engineering, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define testing needs.
  • Execute functional, regression, UI, API, and performance tests for web applications.
  • Identify, log, and track defects with clear documentation and reproduction steps.
  • Create and execute test plans ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews, contributing to improvements in automation frameworks and processes.
  • Continuously enhance the automation strategy, tools, and best practices.
  • Review user stories to ensure testability and alignment with acceptance criteria.
  • Report test results and provide insights/recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and automation tools such as Playwright.
  • Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience working with Git or other version control systems.
  • Strong exposure to UI, API, and performance test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient automated test scripts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced Playwright techniques and best practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerised environments.
