QA / Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA / Test Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong testing fundamentals, experience in test planning and execution, and the ability to collaborate closely with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:-

-Analyze requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

-Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.

-Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.

-Execute API testing and validate backend services.

-Perform database testing using SQL queries.

-Participate in test execution cycles and release validations.

-Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.

-Prepare test reports, metrics, and quality status updates.

-Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

-2 to 4 years of experience as a QA / Test Engineer.

-Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).

-Hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies.

-Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).

-Good knowledge of defect life cycle.

-Experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger).

-Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.

-Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
