QA Test Engineer (Day Shift)

As a seasoned and motivated QA Test Engineer with 6-7 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to provide Test Automation support. You should be a focused and solution-oriented individual who excels in working independently as well as collaboratively with a cross-functional team of experts. Your passion for running testing efforts to ensure product quality and implementing new QA activities is crucial. Additionally, your innovative and flexible approach will contribute to shaping amazing products. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for executing the full software development life cycle, developing flowcharts, layouts, and documentation according to requirements, and designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. Moreover, you will collaborate with product owners to develop test approaches, write test plans, and analyze outcomes effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop strategies for automating tests for maximum efficiency using tools like Selenium - Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies - Write, implement, and report status for system test cases - Generate quality metrics and reports to assess the status and health of products - Review and collect feedback on test plans and test cases from the QA team and product owner(s) - Serve as a specialist in providing testing know-how for user requirements of complex applications **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - 6-7 years of specific testing experience - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Experience in writing clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools - Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process - Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus **Additional Details:** Moonpreneur is seeking individuals who are not only skilled in QA testing but are also dedicated to learning and implementing new quality assurance activities and procedures.
