QA Test Engineer

As a QA Test Engineer at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, you will be responsible for: - Designing and executing test strategies, plans, and cases for LTE/5G-based IoT scenarios. - Performing manual and automated testing across web, API, and backend layers. - Automating test cases using Python/Bash and available frameworks. - Analyzing logs and PCAPs (NAS, NGAP, PFCP, HTTP/2) for issue identification and resolution. - Collaborating with Dev and DevOps teams for defect tracking and root cause analysis. - Contributing to QA process improvement and Agile delivery. Qualifications required for this role include: - B Tech and/or M Tech in CSE or related field. - Cyber security specialization is preferable but not essential. - Experience in LTE/5G IoT testing with a good understanding of 5G SA architecture and network slicing. - Protocol-level knowledge in NAS, NGAP, PFCP, HTTP/2. - Hands-on experience with Wireshark/PCAP tools for signaling analysis. - Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting. - Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and Agile workflows. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
