Job Description QA Technical Lead will perform a variety of quality assurance tasks for an enterprise software application, Employees at this level are helping to deliver quality software to the customer on both cloud and on Premise versions . A well-rounded technical/functional skill set, and deep domain knowledge of physical product design development are ideal for this position. Responsibilities: Participate in Agile Methodologies to deliver high-quality software. Own functional areas. Review specs and participate in technical discussion with cross functional teams for new software functionality development Test functionalities, Report software defects, create automated tests and review documentation Develop an automation strategy for code and functionality coverage Complete all quality assurance activities of new product development cycle and adhere to release criteria in a timely manner and support maintaining released versions. Work as a team player, share ideas and contribute the overall delivery of the team and part of team s success. Required Skills and Knowledge: Strong work experience in CAD applications like Creo (previously Pro-Engineer), optionally CATIA, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc Working knowledge of CAD data models such as solid and surface modelling. Understanding of geometry, parametric relationships, and assembly techniques Experience in Mechanical Design and development of physical product. Strong communication skill and ability to work both in a team environment and independently. Demonstrated competency in mechanical design, manufacturing and development of physical products and tooling Exposure to software testing and automated testing would be an added advantage Scripting in Python or Perl would be an added advantage Work knowledge Scripting or programming would be an added advantage Exposure in web-based applications would be an added advantage Exposure to FEA / Simulation / Generative driven design would be an added advantage Eagerness to handle challenges, willing to learn new technologies and expand knowledge Flexible, adaptable and ability to handle multi tasking Basic Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related field 4-7 years of physical product design development experience in software quality assurance, software development, software technical support, or related field would be an advantage
