Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled QA Technical Lead with 3 4 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python and Playwright (with TypeScript), and a strong understanding of modern QA practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test strategy design. This role involves leading automation efforts and collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright (TypeScript).
Define and implement test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Own the quality of deliverables and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure timely execution and reporting.
Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
Maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3 4 years of experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Python and Playwright (TypeScript).
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with REST APIs and backend testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
