As a Functional Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive test coverage by focusing on identifying and addressing edge cases. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating exceptional functional testing abilities - Writing detailed test cases to evaluate software functionality - Documenting defects meticulously and tracking them to resolution - Participating in grooming and planning sessions - Developing and maintaining test plans - Taking responsibility for releases to meet functional testing requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: - A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation testing - Good understanding of JIRA, XRAY, or similar test management tools - Hands-on experience in JavaScript - Strong understanding of Selenium or other automation tools - Knowledge of testing frameworks like Xunit - Solid grasp of API testing and API automation - Familiarity with Postman automation - Previous experience in testing conversational chatbot applications - Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies - Strong testing mindset with meticulous attention to detail - Understanding of object-oriented design principles - Proactive in providing inputs during grooming sessions - Mentoring and guiding junior team members Your role will also involve meeting quality deliverables and adhering to deadlines. Previous work experience in the finance domain is considered a plus for this position.,
