As a QA SDET, your role involves collaborating with a cross-cultural team to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks. Your primary focus will be ensuring the quality and reliability of applications, including seamless API and third-party service integration. You are expected to be an individual contributor with the ability to meet the high expectations of a skilled team specializing in testing applications for the US mortgage market. Your responsibilities include developing and executing automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks to validate application functionality and performance. You will also be conducting API and backend testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and SOAP UI to ensure smooth integration between systems and verify endpoint responses. Additionally, you will manage performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to evaluate system performance under load conditions and identify performance bottlenecks. You will design detailed test cases and scenarios based on business requirements, covering critical functionalities and edge cases. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla will be crucial in ensuring all issues are reported, managed, and resolved effectively. Collaboration with development teams, providing feedback from a testing perspective, and actively contributing to continuous integration practices using tools like Jenkins are essential aspects of your role. Your expertise in enhancing test automation frameworks, problem-solving, and effective communication will be valuable assets in this role. Working experience in the US mortgage domain, good communication skills, and the ability to work directly with US-based customers are expected. You will also need to work at least 4 hours overlapping with US Pacific business hours.,
