QA (Quality Assurance) Assistant

You will also be responsible for collaborating with various teams across the bank to raise the standard of QA, recording defects, and collating metrics for reporting purposes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using standard testing frameworks like Serenity, Cucumber BDD, and Playwright. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to create robust automation test suites for API and UI testing. - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and deployment. - Develop and execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies for application reliability and scalability. - Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and work on improving test coverage and efficiency. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies like GCP. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 4+ years of experience in test automation. - Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and Playwright. - Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). - Experience in testing RESTful APIs, web services, and database testing. - Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and Agile/Scrum environments. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
