Role Overview: As a QA (Quality Assurance) Associate at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will be responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are executed for all applications and programs within your domain. Your role involves designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and technical products' functional performance. Additionally, you will investigate instances where products do not perform as expected, design quality assurance practices to support business development, and drive the adoption of best practices across the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using standard testing frameworks like Serenity, Cucumber BDD, and Playwright - Collaborate with development and QA teams to create comprehensive automation test suites for API and UI - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous testing and deployment - Develop and execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies to ensure application reliability and scalability - Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and work on improving test coverage and efficiency - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies like GCP Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in test automation - Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD, Cucumber, Playwright - Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) - Experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services - Familiarity with database testing, including SQL queries and data validation in RDBMS, Oracle DB - Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank promotes a culture of empowerment, commercial thinking, initiative-taking, and collaborative work.
