QA Officer

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all products, processes, and systems comply with the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements through implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve batch manufacturing records (BMR) and batch packaging records (BPR).
• Perform in-process checks during manufacturing and packaging operations.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and company quality policies.
• Handle line clearance and area/equipment cleaning verification.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, and Warehouse teams to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in deviation, change control, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes.
• Review and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality documents.
• Support internal and external audits (regulatory and customer).
• Conduct training on quality systems and GMP practices.
• Monitor calibration and validation activities as per schedule.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping in accordance with QA procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• Experience: 1–4 years of experience in QA (preferably in pharma / API).
• Knowledge: Good understanding of GMP, documentation practices, and regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
