QA Manual Tester

The QA Manual Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. You will be responsible for meticulously testing software, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring that all systems meet the specified requirements and standards. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality products and a positive user experience for our customers. As a QA Manual Tester, you will be required to have at least 5 years of experience in Manual Testing. You should have expertise in testing UI5/Fiori Apps and proficiency in using Jira and Zephyr for test case creation, execution, and bug reporting. Experience in integration testing and BTP would be advantageous. Your key responsibilities will include understanding software requirements and specifications, developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures, identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, performing manual testing to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility, collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating test data and test environments, providing feedback on usability and functionality, participating in test planning and strategy development, reporting on testing progress and results, ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, conducting regression testing when necessary, documenting test plans, procedures, and results, participating in peer reviews and inspections, and working on multiple projects simultaneously. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and have proven experience as a QA Manual Tester or in a similar role. You must have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices, proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools, experience with bug tracking and test management tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, knowledge of test planning and strategy development, familiarity with Agile development processes, understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, certifications in software testing or quality assurance, experience with testing web and mobile applications, and knowledge of SQL and database testing.
