QA Manual Tester

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for building test plans, test suites, and manual or automation test cases for assigned changes. Your role will involve independently setting up environments to test assigned work and executing manual tests. You will play a key role in creating accurate and comprehensive defect reports, applying independence and creativity to problem-solving across project assignments. Your expertise will be vital as you provide valuable input throughout the development lifecycle and strive to deploy all products and updates on time. It will be essential for you to stay updated on current best practices, trends, and industry developments while maintaining a high standard of work quality and encouraging others to do the same. Identifying potential challenges and bottlenecks proactively will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing and hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a relevant field. Demonstrated understanding of QA methodologies, knowledge of different forms of testing such as white box and smoke tests, and hands-on experience in database, frontend, APIs, and non-functional testing are required. Proficiency in testing tools like Postman, knowledge of Agile frameworks, and a strong analytical mind are also essential. The ability to problem-solve, experience with software quality assurance, familiarity with the software development ecosystem, and the flexibility to adapt techniques based on requirements are crucial for this position.
