Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, experience in manual testing, and a good grasp of Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality through test planning, execution, and issue reporting. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of web and API-based applications. Review and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents. Design and execute test cases and report bugs with clarity and detail. Collaborate with developers and product managers in Agile/Scrum environments. Validate APIs using tools like Postman and Advanced REST Client. Write and execute SQL queries, including JOINS, to validate backend data. Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Open to contributing to automation testing as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience in manual testing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies. Proficiency in SQL, especially in writing complex queries and joins. Good understanding of REST APIs and experience with Postman. Familiar with core testing terminologies, test design techniques, and testing strategies. Sound knowledge of ISTQB concepts (certification is a plus). Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Open to learning or contributing to test automation as required. Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar. Familiarity with test case management tools.
