QA Manual - Senior Analyst

Overview

Annalect is currently seeking a data engineer to join our technology team. In this role you will build Annalect products which sit atop cloud-based data infrastructure. We are looking for people who have a shared passion for technology, design & development, data, and fusing these disciplines together to build cool things. In this role, you will work on one or more software and data products in the Annalect Engineering Team. You will participate in technical architecture, design, and development of software products as well as research and evaluation of new technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of complex software with UI (brand-new software products based on unified platform, new features, bug verification).
• Requirement testing, analysis and communicate directly with product managers.
• Collaborate with Development team to develop effective strategies, test plans &test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify the quality KPI's and ensure the compliance at each stage.
• Collaborate with the Development team on Bug fix verification and Validation.
• Review Test cases, analyze test results, perform data validation, tracking defects and provide regular status to stakeholders.
• Guide automation team for automations of test processes as needed.
• Work with cross functional team to ensure quality throughout software development lifecycle.
• Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem.
• Support, Designs, Develops, and enhance Test processes and reporting for QA processes.
• Attend sprint planning, retrospective, QA demos and daily stand up regularly.
• Mentor and provide training assistance to Mid and Jr QA Engineers

Qualifications

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience
• Extensive experience in software development and testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Functional testing of web-applications.
• Black box testing (boundary values, equivalence partitioning).
• UI/UX Testing.
• Knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD, Bamboo, Github, bit bucket or similar tool.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• jMeter Test automation with Selenium.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• ross-browser testing.
• API testing.
• ISTQB Certified.
• Mentoring Junior testers.
• Familiarity with scripting languages used in test automation.
• Desire to learn new technologies.
