QA Manual - Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements and system specifications to design effective test strategies.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system and exploratory testing across multiple web applications.
• Experienced in identifying, documenting and tracking bugs using Defect Management tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and provide input on testability and quality risks.
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing to ensure resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Good understanding of STLC process
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience testing web applications.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience in Defect Management Tool- TFS or JIRA is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL server, able to write basic queries.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies
