Category: Quality Assurance, Test Management,(BTB)Reports To: Head of QA & AutomationLocation: Navi-Mumbai (Client Premise)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on and results-driven QA Automation Manager to lead our team of skilled automation engineers and drive thesuccessful execution of our quality assurance strategy. This role is focused on the day-to-day management of all testing activities, ensuring thedelivery of high-quality, thoroughly tested software for our mission-critical UPI platform.Reporting to the Head of QA & Automation, you will be the operational leader responsible for implementing the automation framework,managing testing projects, and mentoring your team. You will play a crucial role in translating the high-level QA strategy into actionable plans,ensuring that every release meets our exacting standards for quality, performance, and reliability.Key Responsibilities• Team & Project Managemento Lead, manage, and mentor a team of QA Automation Engineers (SDETs), overseeing their daily activities, sprint planning,task allocation, and overall performance.o Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle for multiple projects and releases, from test planning and effort estimation toexecution, reporting, and sign-off.• Automation Framework Execution & Maintenanceo Oversee the continuous development, maintenance, and enhancement of the test automation framework, ensuring itremains robust, scalable, and efficient.

• Drive the team to expand automation test coverage across all critical areas, including APIs, back-end services, and non-
  functional requirements.

• Test Planning & Execution
o Develop detailed and comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases in collaboration with product anddevelopment teams.o Ensure the timely execution of all functional, regression, integration, and performance testing suites, and meticulouslyanalyze results to identify defects and quality gaps.

• Defect Management & Quality Reporting
o Govern the defect lifecycle process using tools like Jira, working closely with development teams to ensure the timelytriage, prioritization, and resolution of all identified issues.o Prepare and present detailed quality dashboards and test execution reports to the QA Head, highlighting key metrics, risks,and progress.• Process Adherence & Improvemento Ensure your team strictly adheres to all established QA processes, standards, and best practices defined by the QA Head.o Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process by identifying opportunities for increasedefficiency, better tools, and more effective test strategies.

Qualifications & Experience
• Experience:o 7-8+ years of comprehensive experience in software quality assurance.o A minimum of 2-3 years in a QA Lead or Manager role, with direct experience managing a team of automation engineers.• Domain Expertise:o Strong experience in the Banking, Financial Services (BFS), or FinTech sector is required.o Familiarity with Payments systems, especially UPI or other real-time transaction platforms, is highly desirable.• Technical & Automation Expertise:o Strong, hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools for API testing (e.g., REST Assured, Postman) andperformance testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).o Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python) is required for script developmentand framework maintenance.o Solid experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and integrating test automation into the software delivery pipeline.o Expertise in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, Quality Center).• Leadership Skills:o Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a highly technical team.

• Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-
  paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
