We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / QA Consultant to drive quality assurance across web and mobile projects. This role combines deep testing expertise with strong leadershipmanaging QA teams, defining test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and automation).
Assign tasks, review test plans, and monitor team progress and productivity.
Conduct regular 1:1s, team standups, and performance evaluations.

Test Strategy & Execution:

Define and drive QA strategy for manual & automation testing.
Review requirements to ensure coverage and mitigate quality risks.
Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.

Consultative & Cross-Functional Work:

Work with dev, product, and PM teams to ensure quality from the start.
Share QA insights in client discussions and project planning.
Represent QA in reviews, release planning, and retrospectives.

Automation & Tools:

Oversee test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Guide tool selection for test management & reporting (TestRail, Zephyr, JIRA).

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years in QA with leadership experience.
Strong in SDLC, Agile/Scrum, manual & automation testing (web, mobile, API).
Knowledge of performance/security testing & QA tools.
Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in consulting/client-facing QA roles.
