Description
Lead the automation testing efforts, defining test strategies, frameworks, and best practices. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases. Implement continuous testing as part of CI/CD pipelines. Identify test scenarios, create test plans, and manage test data. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and provide solutions for test failures. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, ensuring best automation practices are followed. Evaluate and integrate new automation tools and technologies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 6+ years in software testing, with at least 3 years in automation testing and 2+ years in a leadership role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.). Must have good experience in STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle). Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Angular, JavaScript. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD). Experience in API automation testing (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI). Familiarity with performance and security testing tools is a plus. Working knowledge of cloud-based test environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Education: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with mobile automation testing.
