Job Title: Senior QA Engineer – Manual Testing

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality products through meticulous manual testing and has a working understanding of data integration tools like Stitch (recommended, not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and execute detailed, well-structured manual test cases for web and mobile applications.

· Validate critical financial workflows including payments, KYC, risk scoring, account operations, etc.

· Perform regression, functional, integration, API, and UI testing.

· Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure timely and bug-free releases.

· Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or equivalent tools.

· Work with SQL and perform backend validation to ensure data integrity.

· Participate in UAT and production sanity tests.

· Support testing of data pipelines using tools like Stitch, Fivetran, or custom ETL frameworks.

· Assist in maintaining test documentation including test plans, traceability matrices, and reports.

· Suggest QA process improvements and mentor junior testers.

· Must-Have Skills:

· 8+ years of strong experience in manual testing.

· Deep understanding of FinTech domain workflows (payments, ledgers, compliance, etc.).

· Proficiency in test case design, bug reporting, and QA documentation.

· Experience testing REST APIs (using Postman or Swagger).

· Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation.

· Knowledge or exposure to Stitch or similar ETL/data sync tools (recommended).

· Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have:

· Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) – even if not hands-on.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.

· ISTQB or other QA certifications.

· Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment.

· Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
