Position Summary

We are looking for a Junior Quality Analyst with hands-on experience in manual software testing, and who is open to Automation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring product quality, possess a keen eye for detail, and be eager to learn and grow within a dynamic development team.

Key Responsibilities

● Manual Test Execution : Execute detailed test cases and test plans for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across our SaaS platform (web and/or mobile applications).
● Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and accurately report software defects (bugs) using a bug tracking system, providing clear steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.● Test Case Creation & Maintenance: Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.● Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.● Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects that might be missed by formal test cases, leveraging intuition and creativity.● Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Test applications across various browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure compatibility and consistent user experience.● Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QAteam members to understand requirements, clarify issues, and ensure timelydelivery of high-quality software.● Feedback & Communication: Provide clear, concise, and timely feedback onproduct quality and progress to the team.● Documentation: Contribute to QA documentation, including test reports andknowledge base articles.● Continuous Improvement: Participate in team discussions to improve testingprocesses, tools, and overall software quality.

Qualifications

● Dedicated experience in manual software testing. - Fresners can also apply
● Prior experience testing applications is highly desirable.● Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and theSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC).● Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Bugzilla) and testmanagement tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) is a plus.● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.● Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databaseconcepts is a plus.● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relatedfield, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
