Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
Perform manual, regression, functional, UI/UX, and API testing. Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium / Appium / Playwright.
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions).
Conduct cross-browser and device testing for web and mobile platforms.
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira / Bugzilla.
Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and reviews.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.

Preferred candidate profile

strong experience in Software Quality Assurance, covering both manual and automation testing.

Proven hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications (Android & iOS).
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum-based development environments.

Technical Expertise

• Proficient in Automation Testing using Selenium / Appium / Playwright / Cypress.
• Good knowledge of API Testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Understanding of software architecture, backend integration, and database testing (SQL).
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr).
