QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at PwC's Acceleration Center in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs in collaboration with developers and product teams. - Creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements. - Performing functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing. - Setting up and maintaining test environments and automation frameworks. - Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and release processes. - Continuously improving testing strategies and tools for better efficiency and coverage. - Providing clear documentation of defects, test results, and overall product quality. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing. - Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Experience with performance testing using Jmeter or similar tools. - Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. - Experience with SQL.
