QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and prepare detailed

  test plans

  ,

  test cases

  test data

• Execute

  manual functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing

  across web and mobile platforms.
• Develop and maintain

  automated test scripts

  using

  Selenium WebDriver

  ,

  TestNG/JUnit

  , or equivalent tools.
• Perform

  API testing

  using

  Postman

  or similar tools.
• Validate backend data using

  SQL queries

  or tools like

  pgAdmin

  ,

  SQL Server

  MySQL

• Log detailed, reproducible defects using

  JIRA

  , and track them through closure.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps for test coverage and release readiness.
  
• Participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  : sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Contribute to test automation framework enhancements and test coverage expansion.
  
• Perform

  cross-browser, cross-device

  , and

  UI/UX validation

  using tools like Chrome DevTools or Lighthouse.
• Support

  UAT

  production deployments

  , and post-release validation.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in

  manual testing

  (web/mobile).
• 1+ years of experience in

  automation testing

  Selenium (Java/Python)

• Good understanding of

  STLC

  SDLC

  Agile methodology

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  API testing

  ,

  Postman

  REST APIs

• Experience with

  defect tracking tools

  (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Good command over

  SQL

  for backend validation.
• Exposure to

  CI/CD tools

  , Git, and Jenkins is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
