Job Description

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by performing manual testing and collaborating with developers and product teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, documenting, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications. - Performing manual testing across various platforms to ensure product functionality, usability, and performance. - Identifying, logging, and tracking defects/bugs using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect management systems. - Conducting regression, functional, integration, smoke, and UAT testing. - Collaborating with developers and business teams to understand requirements and validate deliverables. - Participating in test case reviews and maintaining comprehensive test documentation. - Working with automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Postman for smoke and regression test coverage. - Supporting CI/CD pipeline testing and assisting in maintaining automation scripts. - Conducting API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger. - Ensuring that testing activities are completed on time and meet quality objectives. Your skills should include: - Strong experience in Manual Testing of web and/or mobile applications. - Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle. - Hands-on experience with test case design techniques. - Knowledge of Automation Testing using Selenium (Java/Python) or equivalent tools. - Experience in API testing (Postman / Rest Assured preferred). - Working knowledge of SQL for data validation. - Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preferred skills that would be good to have: - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Knowledge of Performance Testing tools (JMeter / LoadRunner). - Exposure to version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Basic scripting or coding ability (Java, Python, or JavaScript). - Experience with Test Management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, etc.). Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Software Testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is an added advantage.
