Job Description

Manual Testing

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform
manual testing
(functional, regression, integration, UI, and exploratory testing).
Build, maintain, and execute
automation frameworks
(web, mobile, API testing).
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements.
Identify, log, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide actionable insights.
Implement best QA practices, improve test processes, and ensure continuous integration (CI/CD) testing coverage.
Work with tools like
Jira, TestRail, or similar
for test case and defect management.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in
software testing (manual + automation)
.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g.,
Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
).
Proficiency in scripting languages (
Python, Java, or JavaScript
) for test automation.
Experience with
API testing tools
(Postman, Rest Assured).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for backend validation.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience in
performance testing
(JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
ISTQB or relevant QA certification.
