QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual and Automation Tester) with 2-4 years of experience, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Review requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Execute manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT. - Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Work with TestNG or JUnit frameworks for automation. - Conduct API Testing using tools like Postman (preferred). - Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools. - Collaborate with development and product teams to maintain quality standards. - Prepare and share test reports and documentation. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - 2-3 years of experience in Manual & Automation Testing. - Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG/JUnit frameworks. - Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Proficiency in functional, regression, and smoke testing. - Basic experience in API Testing (Postman or REST Assured). - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git), experience with Performance Testing tools (JMeter), and hold an ISTQB Certification. Your educational background should include a B.Tech / B.E. / MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
