QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at Carelon Global Solutions India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare solutions. Your responsibilities will include understanding technical and functional requirements, creating exhaustive SIT test scenarios, adhering to testing standards, and reviewing test plans to ensure the quality of deliverables. You will need to resolve technical issues during testing, work independently with minimal guidance, and consistently meet project timelines. Your role will also involve scaling up your skills, learning new functions within the team, and effectively communicating and collaborating with onshore and offshore team members. As a QA Engineer, you will serve as the point of contact for your team, mentor other associates, and actively participate in team-building activities. Additionally, you will be expected to attend daily SCRUM calls, report on your progress, and be flexible with work hours based on project demands. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should have 2-5 years of experience in API testing and possess strong technical expertise in SQL and API testing. Your skills and competencies should include proficiency in API and DB testing, effective organizational and time-management skills, strong communication abilities, and attention to detail. Knowledge in underwriting will be an added advantage.
