Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium . Perform API testing using tools such as Postman , Rest Assured , or similar. Develop test plans, test cases, and test data based on requirements and technical specifications. Execute manual and automated test cases , analyze results, and report defects. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers in Agile/Scrum teams. Perform database validations using complex SQL queries . Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of QA automation frameworks. Ensure regression coverage and continuous integration of automated tests. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8 years of experience in QA Automation using Java and Selenium WebDriver . Hands-on experience in RESTful API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI). Strong knowledge of SQL for backend validation and data integrity checks. Solid understanding of SDLC , STLC , and Agile testing methodologies. Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit. Familiarity with build tools like Maven/Gradle and CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions. Good problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber/Gherkin). Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or containerized apps (Docker, Kubernetes). Preferred candidate profile 8+ yrs experience candidates who have both manual and automation testing experience. Looking for immediate candidates from Bangalore location.
