QA Engineer

As an Agile Quality Assurance professional, you will conduct system studies, create test cases, and carry out tests using automated test tools. Your role involves evaluating developments, reporting bugs to the development team, and assessing browser and device applications for quality. With at least 1 year of experience, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications. You will utilize various testing techniques such as automation, manual, regression, and performance testing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, is crucial to ensuring that software products meet high-quality standards and customer requirements. You will be tasked with designing and managing test automation frameworks employing tools like Selenium, Jenkins, and other open-source automation tools. Maintaining test environments, configuring hardware and software, and upholding stability and security within the test environment are also part of your responsibilities. Reporting and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools is essential, ensuring that defects are addressed promptly. Communicating test results and progress to stakeholders, including development teams, product management, and senior leadership, is a key aspect of the role. Continuous improvement of the testing process through the implementation of best practices, tools, and techniques to enhance test coverage and efficiency is expected. Additionally, active participation in the Agile development process, including Sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, is required. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter, and other open-source automation tools is necessary. Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall is beneficial, as is a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. Analytical skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborative work with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, experience with version control tools like Git, and knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Ruby are advantageous for this role.,
