Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automation testing. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products by designing robust test strategies, building automated test suites, and driving quality best practices in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and API applications
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or RestAssured
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in Agile teams
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, or automation tools
• Participate in requirement reviews, design walkthroughs, and sprint planning
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and log detailed defect reports
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in test automation
• Strong knowledge of testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC
• Hands-on experience in one or more automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Git, TestRail
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and test integration in pipelines
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• ISTQB or other QA certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
