QA Automation Test Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong knowledge base in Java development and a solid understanding of the SDLC. As a QA Manual and Automation Engineer, you will identify areas suitable for automation and contribute to automating Selenium scripts. You will also be responsible for defining, designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing application tools written in Java. Additionally, you will have expertise in analyzing system architecture and suggesting testing methods, as well as experience in developing automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze scenarios and scope for automation.
• Develop and expand automation frameworks to provide additional test capabilities.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in scripting and running automated Selenium tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, and enhance applications.
• Troubleshoot and maintain applications and tools written in Java and Swift.
• Analyze and identify suitable automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and Appium.
• Utilize your expertise in Java application development and deployment to improve efficiency.
• Implement and test full-stack solutions using Java, Spring, and databases like SQL.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for system testing using Java and other scripting languages.
• Collaborate with team members to convert business scenarios into automated test cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7-12 years of experience in building scalable backend applications using Java as the primary programming language.
• Strong knowledge of Java, including web frameworks like Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, J2EE, Node.js, and AngularJS.
• Experience in developing automation scripts and working with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium and Appium.
• Familiarity with high-level JavaScript concepts like asynchronous programming and closures.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development using Java.
• Knowledge of automation testing and management using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with SQL and database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and cloud-based applications is a plus.
