Job Description

design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such asPython, Selenium, Robot Framework, or Playwright. 4.4 Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting. Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document test cases, track defects, and collaborate with team members. Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications. Conduct API testing (preferred) and integrate it into the automation suite. Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, documentation teams, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Think from the user s perspective to identify potential usability issues and ensure a seamless user experience. Apply strong analytical skills to identify risk areas, estimate testing scope, and ask critical questions to improve product quality. Continuously assess and improve testing processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience (4+ years preferred) as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and types of testing. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting in Python. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Nice to Have: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests. Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
