Typical Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or related). Vskills+1
Extensive experience in automation often 10–12+ years total QA experience, with several years (typically 2–5+) in automation leadership/management.
Strong programming skills (e.g. Java + Selenium WebDriver; or equivalent languages/tools depending on stack).
Deep understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), test automation best practices, and experience building test frameworks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, mentor team, and report to leadership.
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to define metrics/KPIs, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
