QA Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Working closely with the development team, you will be identifying, documenting, and resolving defects while upholding high testing standards. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing system specifications, designing and executing test cases, tracking bugs to resolution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting various types of testing such as regression, functional, integration, and performance testing. Additionally, you will be preparing detailed test reports, summaries, and logs, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 1-5 years of experience in software testing or QA roles. Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium and Postman, as well as bug-tracking software, is required. You should also possess a strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies, hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred skills for this position include experience with API testing and performance testing tools, familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL for test scripting, and knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins or Git.
