Job Description

Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and/or backend applications. • Develop and maintain end-to-end test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar. • Build integration and regression test suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual testers to define test strategies and ensure high coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. • Integrate test automation with version control and continuous delivery tools. • Identify gaps in test coverage, analyze test results, and proactively drive resolution of defects and test failures. • Conduct code reviews for automated tests and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of automation tools and frameworks. • Mentor junior automation engineers and support their growth through training and code guidance. • Monitor, analyze, and report test results and automation metrics to stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Proven experience designing and implementing automated test solutions for large-scale software systems. • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.). • Hands-on experience with one or more test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Appium). • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test lifecycle, and software development best practices. • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation into build workflows. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to sprint planning and releases. • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and backend automation. • Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git. • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have: • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6. • Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. • Exposure to security testing and automated compliance checks. • Previous experience mentoring teams and establishing QA best practices at scale.
