As a QA Engineer at DoorDash Labs, you will play a crucial role in the development of autonomous delivery robots. Your main responsibilities will include triaging logs from daily testing runs, analyzing specific events, categorizing issues, and collaborating with the software team to implement necessary improvements. Additionally, you may be involved in setting up simulation scenarios and creating maps for robot navigation. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze autonomoy issues using proprietary diagnostic tools and techniques with precision and efficiency - Take ownership of issue analysis, generate reports, and create data visualizations to prioritize and summarize identified issues - Develop diverse scenarios in a simulation environment to test new autonomy features and maintain a library of scenarios for regression testing - Collaborate with Operations, Program Management, and Software Engineering teams to identify and address key issues within the autonomy stack - Streamline QA processes and workflows to optimize efficiency - Lead QA initiatives from end to end, including process establishment, defining metrics, training new team members, quality auditing, and reporting Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience with 2+ years as a QA Engineer - Proficiency in using Issue Tracking Software like Jira - Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail - Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different functional teams - Located in Hyderabad, India Nice to have: - Familiarity with Linux and command line interfaces - Experience with version control tools such as Git - Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools like Sigma - Experience with SQL About DoorDash: DoorDash is a technology and logistics company dedicated to empowering local economies.
