QA and Triage Specialist

As a QA Engineer at DoorDash Labs, you will play a crucial role in the development of autonomous delivery robots, focusing on QA and triage tasks. Your responsibilities will include triaging logs of daily testing runs, analyzing specific events, categorizing issues, and collaborating with the software team to implement necessary improvements. Additionally, you may set up simulation scenarios and create maps for robot navigation. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize proprietary diagnostic tools to accurately triage and diagnose robot autonomy issues - Generate reports and data visualizations to prioritize and summarize identified issues - Develop diverse scenarios in a simulation environment to test new autonomy features and maintain a library of scenarios for regression testing - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, route, and monitor key issues in the autonomy stack - Streamline and enhance QA processes and workflows - Take end-to-end ownership of QA initiatives, including process establishment, defining metrics, training new team members, quality auditing, and reporting Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or 2+ years of industry experience as a QA Engineer - Proficiency in Issue Tracking Software such as Jira - Exceptional analytical skills - Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across different functional teams - Track record of delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision - Must be located in Hyderabad, India Nice to have: - Familiarity with Linux and command line interfaces - Experience with version control tools like Git and basic commands/workflows - Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools such as Sigma - Proficiency in SQL About DoorDash: DoorDash is a technology and logistics company dedicated to empowering local economies.
