As a Python Django Developer, your role involves building and maintaining scalable, secure web applications. You will be responsible for writing efficient Python/Django code, designing database models, developing APIs, integrating with front-end elements, optimizing performance, and ensuring quality through testing and code reviews. Collaboration with teams to meet business needs is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain web apps and APIs using Python and the Django framework. - Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code; conduct code reviews; and fix bugs to ensure code quality. - Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness to enhance performance. - Create and manage database schemas (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optimize queries for efficient database management. - Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services for seamless API integration. - Implement security measures to protect against common threats like SQL injection to ensure application security. - Work with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic for effective collaboration. - Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure the quality of the applications. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in Python and Django frameworks. - Solid knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. - Experience in RESTful API design and implementation. - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of Agile development methodologies like sprints and stand-ups. - Possess critical thinking and debugging skills for effective problem-solving.
