Python/Django Developer

As a Python Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, testing, and maintaining backend applications using Python - Building and consuming RESTful APIs - Working with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI - Integrating databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB - Writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code - Optimizing applications for performance and scalability - Integrating third-party APIs and services - Collaborating with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams - Fixing bugs, improving application stability, and enhancing features - Participating in code reviews and sprint planning To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Python - Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI - Good understanding of OOPs, data structures, and algorithms - Knowledge of REST API design - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases - Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and GitLab - Basic understanding of Linux environments - Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth is a plus Additionally, the following skills would be preferred or considered good-to-have: - Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP - Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines - Exposure to AI/ML, Data Processing, or Automation - Experience in microservices architecture - Frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) would be a plus This is a full-time permanent position with a hybrid remote work location in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
