Job Description

As a Python-based Automation Testing professional at Cognizant, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Utilize your 4 to 10 years of experience in python-based automation testing to develop and execute test cases efficiently. - Demonstrate strong expertise in Data Validation using Python, including API Automation using libraries like requests. - Implement an object-oriented programming approach to ensure effective test case design and execution. - Utilize your knowledge in Jenkins CI/CD tool or GitHub Actions to contribute to the automation pipeline. - Showcase your proficiency in SQL by framing advanced queries to validate and manipulate data effectively. - Leverage your familiarity with Data Science library Pandas for data analysis and validation purposes. - Any exposure to ETL processes will be considered an added advantage. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4 to 10 years of experience in python-based automation testing. - Proficiency in object-oriented programming, SQL, and Data Science libraries like Pandas. - Basic knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD tool or GitHub Actions. - Experience in Data Science lib Pandas, including data analysis and validation. - Exposure to ETL processes would be beneficial. Please note that hands-on experience in Robot framework and ETL Testing would be considered a plus for this position.,
