About the Project

We are building a next-generation SaaS-based Voice AI and Automation Platform that enables intelligent inbound and outbound communication for healthcare, insurance, and enterprise clients.

The platform combines FastAPI, Django, Redis, PostgreSQL, Kafka, STT, TTS, LLMs, and Telephony to deliver real-time conversational automation at scale.

Were seeking an experienced QA Engineer to perform end-to-end testing across all modules - including frontend dashboards, backend APIs, voice flows, and cloud integrations - ensuring enterprise-grade quality, reliability, and performance.

Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will lead testing for a complex, distributed SaaS product that orchestrates AI models, speech systems, and telephony infrastructure.

You’ll be responsible for validating the complete lifecycle - from web UI to backend microservices, to live call handling and API orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive end-to-end test plans covering web, API, voice, and data layers.

Test REST and WebSocket APIs built with FastAPI and Django using Postman or pytest.

Conduct functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across multiple environments.

Verify data accuracy, transcript precision, and system latency in PostgreSQL / MongoDB.

Execute load, concurrency, and failover tests to ensure performance at production scale.

Track and manage issues through Jira, ClickUp, or similar tools; collaborate closely with developers for quick resolutions.

Review deployment builds, Docker images, and configuration parameters for release readiness.

Maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and release sign-off records.

Required Skills

3+ years of QA experience with focus on backend, API, and full-system testing.

Proven expertise in REST API and WebSocket testing.

Proficiency in Postman, pytest, Selenium / Playwright, and Python scripting.

Experience testing applications built on FastAPI / Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.

Familiarity with voice/telephony systems such as Twilio, Telnyx, Vonage, or Plivo.

Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, regression cycles, and test case management.

Excellent analytical and communication skills with a sharp eye for system-level issues.

Good to Have

Exposure to AI-driven SaaS products (LLM, STT, or TTS pipelines).

Familiarity with Langfuse, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools.

Experience testing Dockerized microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS or Azure environments.

Understanding of security and compliance requirements (HIPAA / SOC2) for enterprise SaaS products.

Engagement Details

Contract Duration: 1 to 3 months (extendable based on project scope)

Deliverables: QA test plan, defect logs, regression reports, and final release certification
