Job Description

Location

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Python
Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI for server-side development
Build scalable, secure, and efficient backend services and microservices
Work with relational/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
Integrate third-party APIs, authentication systems (JWT/OAuth), and cloud services
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following Python best practices
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies
(Secondary) Use Python-based automation frameworks (PyTest/Robot/Unittest) to create basic scripts or validate backend components when required
Collaborate with QA teams where automation knowledge supports faster validation of backend services

Required Skills

46 years of strong hands on experience in Python backend development
Expertise in Django, Flask or FastAPI
Strong understanding of REST API development, microservices and server-side logic
Good understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns and Python coding standards
Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
Working knowledge or hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks like: PyTest, Robot Framework , Behave Unittest
(Used for API validations, automation scripts, or backend service checks)

Good to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Docker/Kubernetes knowledge
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of AsyncIO or Celery
