Key Responsibilities:

• Backend System Design: Design, implement, and optimize Python-based backend systems with a focus on storage, networking, and server-side infrastructure.

• System Integration: Work closely with other engineering teams to integrate backend services with various storage and networking solutions.

• Performance Optimization: Analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot backend systems for high performance and low latency.

• Linux Expertise: Work on Linux-based systems, managing file systems, network configurations, and ensuring system-level stability.

• Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, including system provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.

• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve complex system issues, focusing on network, storage, and server-side performance.

• Scalability & Availability: Design systems that can scale to meet business needs while ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, contribute to system architecture decisions, and implement solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Python.

• Python: In-depth knowledge and experience with Python programming, particularly for backend and server-side applications.

• Linux: Strong expertise in Linux/Unix-based systems, including system administration, shell scripting, networking, and storage management.

• Networking: Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DNS), network configuration, and optimization techniques.

• Storage Systems: Experience working with distributed storage systems, file systems, or storage protocols like NFS, iSCSI, or similar.

• Concurrency & Multithreading: Experience with designing concurrent and parallel systems to handle high-throughput workloads.

• Performance Tuning: Ability to analyze and improve the performance of storage, networking, and server-side applications.

• Scalability: Experience in building scalable systems that support high availability and resilience.

• Version Control: Proficient with Git or other version control systems.

• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex system issues.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
