Python QA Engineer

You will be responsible for performing tests in strict compliance, independently guiding other testers, and assisting test leads. Your role will involve constructing test scenarios based on customer user stories or requirements, and developing systematic test cases from these scenarios. You will also be executing test cases, ensuring that new or revised components or systems meet expectations, and documenting test results and reporting defects. Additionally, you will facilitate changes in processes based on lessons learned and help develop the proficiency of other testers on the project. Your outcomes will be measured based on the timely completion of tasks, the number of requirement/user story ambiguities logged, the coverage of requirements/user stories based on test cases/scripts, the number of test cases/scripts developed and executed in comparison to benchmarks, and the number of valid defects identified. You are expected to participate in requirements management by seeking clarification, understanding, reviewing, and contributing to domain relevance by testing features/components with a good understanding of the business problem being addressed. You will also conduct gap analysis between requirement fitment and technology stack using your technology/domain expertise. Reporting test activities, estimating time/effort/resource dependence, managing knowledge by consuming and contributing, and executing test design and development tasks are also part of your responsibilities. Your skills should include the ability to review user stories/requirements, design test cases/scripts efficiently, set up test data, execute tests, and identify anomalies. Knowledge of methodologies, tools, types of testing, testing processes, and testing standards will be beneficial for this role. Additionally, you should have skills in API Testing, SQL, and Python.
