Job Title: Fullstack Developer Python | Angular | AI-Powered Development Location: Chennai Experience Required: 5 - 8 Years Industry: EdTech | SaaS | Low-Code Platforms Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are hiring an experienced Fullstack Developer with a strong foundation in Python (FastAPI/Django) and Angular (TypeScript) to join our fast-growing EdTech team. In this role, you will modernize legacy systems, develop modular frontend/backend features, and embrace AI-powered development workflows using tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor. Youll work on globally-used SaaS platforms that power higher education institutions, designing scalable microservices, building interactive UIs, and orchestrating data pipelines — all in a DevOps-enabled, low-code/metadata-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Legacy Modernization: Refactor legacy PHP systems into scalable, Python-based microservices (FastAPI/Django). Microservices Development: Design secure, RESTful APIs with JWT/OAuth2 authentication and rate limiting. Frontend Development: Build dynamic, responsive Angular components using modern UI/UX and accessibility best practices. AI-Augmented Coding: Use AI tools (Copilot, Cursor) for boilerplate generation, unit testing, and productivity boosts. Reusable Component Architecture: Develop dynamic form renderers, rule engines, workflow builders, and modular libraries. Workflow Automation: Implement task orchestration using Apache Airflow for scheduled and event-based pipelines. Stream Processing: Integrate Kafka-based pub-sub systems for real-time, multi-tenant data streams. DevOps Collaboration: Contribute to CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, ArgoCD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployment (AWS/OCI). Quality & Collaboration: Engage in peer code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile ceremonies. Must-Have Skills: 5–8 years of fullstack experience in production-grade environments. Strong backend expertise with Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) . Advanced frontend skills in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS . Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with OAuth2/JWT , test automation (pytest, Jasmine, Karma). Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or OCI. Proven track record with Apache Airflow, Kafka , and microservice design. Experience in modernizing PHP codebases . Good-to-Have (Bonus) Experience in EdTech, Higher Education , or student lifecycle systems. Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms , rule engines (Camunda, n8n). Knowledge of GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis , or event-driven systems. Involvement in AI tooling ecosystems or LLM-based workflows.
